Figured I would revise this bond proper curious. I bought this ammunition from midway, tested 4 rounds for corrosivness. Proven by testing at home which isnt corrosive, and got they to your selection. Recorded a bunch from my personal M1 and also have didn’t come with rust progress after each week of sitting. Didn’t come with difficulties with the bullets either. Every rounded fired without a hiccup. My personal group is March ’69. POF 69. So this things are GTG if any person cares. Oh with no problems with the films that the bullets is available in sometimes. Everyone else provided and ejected like they are meant to.

Many helpful thread on here. I purchased some because I imagined it might be cool to have Garand bullets pre-loaded on movies. Merely following acquisition I really look over and watched the Berdan primed :-(, next this bond had gotten me concerned about corrosiveness. Thanks. Have mine from Midway in addition.

I recently gotten 3 cardboard boxes that i purchased off a forum representative Joe that has some easily obtainable in the Classifieds area right here.

All of it try headstamped ’68 and jam-packed in box designated Dec. 30, 1968 (need to have come on the point of make some noise on New Year’s, i assume).

The ammo is, indeed, non-magnetic. It’s all-in close, surplus state. Certainly no bad (or better than) the loose HXP from the CMP. No deterioration on any of the rounds save for any usual discoloration and tarnish of age sugar daddy meet.

From 6 enbloc movies, I managed to get 2 postwar SA, 2 really obviously stamped BRW, one clipwith no markings (SA?) plus one that i can not improve characters from. The movies on their own happened to be quite dry but didn’t come with corrosion or corrosion; I permit them to soak in CLP for a while and wiped it well, good as new.

I just try not to faith that countless any POF-mfd milsurp ammo should be possibly consistent, non-chlorate-primed and/or OK

We haven’t shot they yet but I hope to access the product range quickly. Wishing the non-corrosive testimony is true because for a non-reloader like myself these items will likely be an excellent choice. The enbloc movies become a nice additionally. Certain CTD had been selling clipped HXP lately (missing today) but the majority of the enblocs was JMO that we learn being burdensome for some.

I’m not a reloader however, and even though i actually do rescue my personal brass in any event to utilize as barter content or save your self for a wet day, obtaining the enblocs in deal mitigates that notably.

There are many many posts about the poor .303. It was full of cordite plus the cordite by itself degraded into a powder triggering some serious troubles. I’dn’t touching that .303 ammunition.

With that said, I’d fairly put it in an online forum member’s pouch

I’ve shot about a 1000 rounds of POF .308 through an FAL without any troubles. The accuracy is okay, the steel try Berdan primed. Mine is actually head stamped POF 91. It’s hotter than regular M80 or Spanish excess, it operates. I just open the gasoline port a bit.
